However, Adobe Flash Player is still required to be able to run the application and view the end result.

Running it brings up a simple prompt, asking you whether you want to start a new glossary from scratch or open an existing one in case you’re already familiar with the application. You are able to load only one image per term, and it can be of popular formats like JPG, PNG, or BMP. There aren’t any editing tools included. For descriptions, text can be enhanced by bolding, changing to italic, and underlining.

Whenever you save, an HTML file is created in the destination directory. Opening it brings up the default browser, which provides an interactive preview on your whole glossary. The overall arrangement resembles the order of requirement fields, with a clean look and feel.

The whole process is pretty simple and takes only a little time from start to end. Although you can’t load any external data, the simplicity doesn’t make it any different. It’s a quick and reliable solution to create a glossary for any type of items.
