Go Fish FOR MAC

Go Fish is a Mac OS X rendition of the popular card game with the same name. It features a vintage looking user interface and an environment consists of a water tank populated with all sorts of aquatic creatures.

If you are not familiar with the Go Fish rules, you need not worry, because the game is really easy to understand. The goal is to create sets of 4 cards of each type by taking them from other players or from the pile of cards on the table.

In a player’s turn, he / she asks another player for a card that the player needs to from a card deck. If the other player has that card (for instance a three or a Jack), they give it to the player who asked. If not, the player who asked draws a card from the pile and then the next player asks for a card, and so on.

When a player forms a card set, the set is extracted and placed in a separate pile. The player with the most card sets at the end of the game wins. Overall, Go Fish involves some strategical thinking and a good memory to be a great player.

This particular version of Go Fish allows you to play only against the computer AI with up to 3 other players. Moreover, it includes a relaxing soundtrack, fast animations, as well as explanations of the game rules.

On the whole, Go Fish is a pretty good variant of the classic card game for the OS X platform. It features similar rules plus a nice and straightforward interface. If you are new to the game, you will learn the rules fast. The price is as good as it get, too.
