Gravity Force Lab

Gravity Force Lab is a super cool tool that helps us understand gravity, one of the four main forces in the Universe! You know, like when you drop something and it falls to the ground? That's gravity at work. It's really interesting, but even scientists are still trying to figure it all out.

What Is Gravity?

Even though we see gravity in action all around us, it's still a bit of a mystery. In school, we learn about it in physics class. That’s where Gravity Force Lab comes into play! This app makes learning about gravity fun and engaging for both teachers and students.

A Fun Simulation Tool

This app was made with Java and has an easy-to-use interface. It features two wooden mannequins that pull on two different colored balls. You can actually move these balls side to side (horizontally) and change their mass from 0.01 kg all the way up to 100 kg!

How It Works

The best part? As you play around with the balls, you can see the forces they exert on each other right away! Plus, there's a virtual ruler to measure how far apart they are. It's simple but effective!

A Classroom Favorite
