Grisbi is a personal accounting application that works on both GNU/Linux and Windows. It's released under the GPL license, which means it's free to use!

Our goal with Grisbi is to give you a super simple and easy-to-use tool for your basic accounting needs. But don't let that fool you! If you take some time to set it up, you'll see just how powerful it can be.

Manage Your Finances

With Grisbi, you can handle multiple accounts, currencies, and even users. It helps you manage third-party transactions, expenses, receipt categories, budget lines, financial years, and more! This makes it perfect for associations too (well, except those needing double-entry accounting). You can check out all of Grisbi's features in detail in the User's guide under paragraph 1.2.

User Manual Availability

The complete manual is available online under the FDL license (you can find it in the Documentation section of the main menu). The version included with the software isn't illustrated but you can swap it out for an illustrated one anytime. Just download it from our site! We’re also planning to add a Guide specifically about accounting for associations soon.
