Groupy 2 is an evolution and step in the right way from the previous Groupy application. The basic principle behind it remains the same, grouping apps and windows under one single umbrella for easy access.

I, for one, found it very helpful in situations where you might want to compare the same product, element, or idea from different sources and don't want to waste time finding each particular window scattered on your desktop.

Since we're talking about an evolution, the app seems to be even more flexible than before. As a result, you can choose right from the start the way your united tabs will look, how certain buttons will work and look, tab colors, and various rules that will make the app behave exactly as you need it to.

For example, a background bar can be added to the tabs. Active windows can easily be highlighted for easier identification. You can choose for Groupy 2 tabs to remain independently depicted or integrated with the Windows interface. I found this extremely helpful since I don't like my OS to seem cluttered with all sorts of apps. This made Groupy 2 feel like it was already part of the Windows installation.

Right, so as you've already reached the pinnacle of visual adjustment, you might also want to take a look at the grouping rules included with the app. These are simple in terms of what they do. These are the instructions you or I give the app in order to behave in a certain way we need it to.

I had to decide how I wanted the close group button to function, or if I agreed with the drag-and-drop tab feature activated originally. Hotkey settings can also be adjusted, having a combination or more defined for various tasks during app use.

Groupy 2 was a great help in my case. Since I purchase a lot of video games, I tend to compare the same product on various different gaming sites, and it made life easier by not letting me dig after each particular window left open.
