Evolution in general gave birth to such a great variety of activities, that there doesn’t seem to actually be enough time for anything. However, a clever management of time can help you make the most out of it, and calendar applications come in handy. There are multiple such services, but in case you’re using Calendarscope and Google Calendar, you need to know sync is possible with utilities like HandySync for Google.

Before you go off downloading the small tool, you might want to know that it’s nothing more than a plugin for Calendarscope so you need to make sure the source application is installed before you can benefit from synchronization options. A Google account is required in order to set up connection between the two calendar services.

You can initiate synchronization from the plug-ins section of Calendarscope, with a handful of settings to manage before this is done. Note that your default web browser might pop-up at a certain point, because you need to authorize your Google account, which provides a security code to paste inside HandySync for Google.

The general settings tab is used to manage various options, and in the end, you can even reduce your effort to minimum. In other words, a built-in scheduler gives you the possibility to select the type of synchronization, and specify the interval in minutes at which automatic sync to be performed.

In case you want to export an existing database, this needs to be specified in a corresponding field. Synchronization can be done for both apps, or from one to the other. More options let you choose the item types to target, and whether or not to sync hidden items with Google Calendar.

Taking everything into consideration, we can say that HandySync for Google manages to live up to expectations, and is one of the tools you might want to keep around, especially if you fancy using both Google Calendar and Calendarscope. Configuration of options is pretty intuitive, and a careful management of settings lets the scheduler take care of the whole process for you.
