HardTop

If you are typically working with limited screen space, then there is a fair chance that you want to have certain windows on top of others. While some apps include these features, others do not and it can affect your productivity. HardTop is a lightweight utility that enables you to put any window on top.

The application is portable and hence, you do not need to bother with installation or configuration. You can simply decompress the archive in the desired location and launch it. The app does not come with an interface, but rather it can be accessed from the System Tray. Functionality-wise, the app is as simple as it looks, meaning that you can view all opened windows and simply choose the one you want on top.

As a side note, if you have browsers opened, then the app shows the tab opened as reference. When working with multiple web pages that you need to switch between, it would be a good idea to open different sessions of the same browser with the pages of interest so that you can easily switch between them.

The tool does not have any settings, other than starting with Windows, a feature that you mark and save some time by having to access the folder and run the app every time you boot the computer. Since everything can be done directly from the System Tray GUI, you do not have to worry about having another window to deal with.
