Harvest: Massive Encounter is a real-time strategy game that’s really fun to play on both Mac OS X and Windows. Imagine epic battles and cool resource management all rolled into one! In this 2D fantasy world, you become the base commander of a space colony that's super far away. Your main job? Use five different building types in creative ways to expand your base and keep it safe.

Build Your Base

You’ll need to build power plants, mineral harvesters, and defense towers. It’s important to make sure they have enough energy so you can fend off endless hordes of pesky aliens trying to invade your colony! The game gives you loads of strategies to explore with its simple rules, which will keep you coming back for more as you try out new base designs every time.

How Energy Works

The heart of Harvest: Massive Encounter is placing buildings that cost credits and energy. You get credits by harvesting minerals from fields, while your power plants produce the energy. What’s unique here is how energy travels from the power plants to where it's needed. It jumps between the energy links that you place, and you can make your energy network even better by setting waypoints.

Defend Against Aliens!

You also have to build lots of defenses because those aliens are not going to hold back! You’ll need Laser Towers, Missile Turrets, and overcharged bombs—all powered up with energy. The cool thing about laser towers? You can link them together for better range and damage! Plus, missile turrets can be upgraded for different uses. Since the aliens come with ten different units requiring various strategies to counter them, you'll need strong defenses!

Your Goal: Survival!

Your main goal in Harvest: Massive Encounter? Stay alive as long as possible! Compete on online high-score lists or team up with other players for epic battles against rival groups. You can also challenge yourself by trying to beat your own records on each planet. With two scores to beat, three planets to explore, and four modes with high scores enabled, there's tons of fun awaiting you!
