Helper++

Helper++ is a text editor that gives you another option if you’re still searching for the perfect tool. When you first open it up, you might notice that its interface looks a bit old-fashioned. The buttons are all different sizes and can be hard to figure out at first.

But don’t worry! As you start playing around with the Helper++ interface, things will make more sense. You can easily create a new document or edit an existing one. Plus, saving your work is super simple—you just click to save it as Note.txt (and yes, you can't change that filename).

Extra Features of Helper++

Besides basic text editing, Helper++ has some handy features like a simple timer and a quick link to Google for when you need to search something online (though it doesn’t support other search engines at this time).

Editing Options

You’ll find plenty of options for tweaking your document, like changing the font and size. You’ll see your changes right away, which is nice! You can even create new folders in the installation directory of Helper++, but sadly, there’s no way to browse for a custom location.

File Format Support

The coolest thing about Helper++? It supports lots of file formats! You can work with TXT, JSON, RTF, DOC, HTML, CSS, CS, and JS files. This means it’s more versatile than basic Windows apps like Notepad or Wordpad. You can open files you've made before and save new ones based on what you've written.

Room for Improvement

Now, it might take some time to get used to using Helper++, but it could really replace your default text editor someday! However, there’s definitely room for improvement—like making the interface easier to navigate and adding a better Help file. Some functions like Create/Delete Folder could also use a little polishing up.
