Sure, you can hide files using built-in Windows tools, but Hidden File Manager makes the whole process way faster. This app is designed to give you a quick way to hide any file you want.
The app's interface is pretty important because it lets you pick which files to hide and shows what you've already chosen. You can see all your currently selected files right there, making it simple to manage them.
The only way to add new files for hiding is through drag-and-drop support. But here's the catch: we found that this feature didn't work during our test on Windows 7 computers. That’s something to keep in mind!
The main window also displays the status, name, and root folder of each hidden item. Plus, it allows you to unhide one or more items quickly if you need them back.
The good news? Using Hidden File Manager doesn’t impact your system stability much at all! You don’t need advanced computer skills to use this app; basic knowledge will do just fine.
So, in short, Hidden File Manager is super handy if hiding files is something you do often. Just remember, it’s not an encryption tool! If you're looking for real security, be careful—one Windows setting can expose all your hidden files.
