Highlighter is a nifty little tool that makes it way easier to keep your audience engaged during presentations or when you're watching tutorials on big screens. Ever tried following a tiny cursor? It can be super tricky! With Highlighter, you get a nice circle around your pointer, so everyone can see exactly where you're clicking.

Customize Your Cursor

This app lets you change the size and color of the circle, which is really cool. By default, it’s blue, but when you click, it turns red! This quick change helps grab everyone’s attention so they know what action you're taking.

How to Use Highlighter

When you launch Highlighter, it pops up a small controller bar on the left side of your screen. This bar doesn’t do much, but if you want it out of sight, just minimize it to send it to the Dock. Easy peasy!

Using Multiple Displays

If you’re using a second display with your Mac, no worries—Highlighter works on that too! Just make sure both screens are at the same level and set up before opening the app. Oh, and don’t forget to have your Dock at the bottom of the main screen for everything to work smoothly.

Tweak Your Settings

You can play around with settings in the Highlighter Preferences. Adjust that circle size to fit your style or turn off the circle after clicking if you prefer less distraction. To bring it back, just restart Highlighter. You can also use some handy hotkeys: Control + Shift turns it on and Option + Shift turns it off.
