Hoppa is a fun and simple arcade game where your main goal is to bounce a colorful ball as many times as you can. To do this, you need to match the ball’s color with the cube you control. The game isn’t too complicated, so you can pick it up quickly, but don’t be fooled—getting past those first dozen bounces can be really tough!

How to Play Hoppa

The ball changes color every time it hits its highest point, and you'll have to stay alert so that you’re not surprised by sudden changes. You control the cube using your arrow keys; the UP and DOWN keys move it along one axis while the LEFT and RIGHT keys handle another.

Cube Rotation Challenge

Because of how you view the cube, you can only see two sides at once. This means you'll have to think ahead about how to rotate it next! Initially, spinning the cube isn’t too hard, but watch out—the ball speeds up after every few bounces, making things trickier.

Memory is Key!

You’ll need to memorize where each colored side of the cube is because there won’t be enough time to look for them after a few bounces. Your only aim in Hoppa is to get as many bounces as possible and beat your own high score. The game doesn’t introduce any new mechanics other than that increasing speed.

Keeping It Interesting

This might make you lose interest pretty fast unless you decide to challenge a friend for the best score! Even though Hoppa is easy to learn, mastering it is a different story. The gameplay stays pretty much the same no matter how long you keep bouncing!
