The world of speed dating is merciless, so here is the adorable Hot Date game to take the sting out of it. Your table partner is a pink pug, and you can get either positive or negative responses, yet you always have the option to start anew.

The game’s premise is quite simple: you are at a candle lit table, your partner is sitting in front of you, and you guys start talking by saying your names.

To keep going, you must use the arrow keys to form questions or responses. To actually address the question or the answer you must press the enter key.

Your goal is to both keep the conversation going, and to get positive responses from your table partner, be it a girl or a boy (the pug changes its mind each time you start a new game).

Nonetheless, once the 3 allotted minutes are over, you must say goodbye and start again with someone new.

However, the available subjects and the questions structure is quite limited: you have a finite number of options, which does not always translate into good conversation material.

The pug can have both positive or negative responses to your charming inquiries without any obvious reasons, so don’t take things too personally if things go south.

The whole Hot Date experience proves to be quite relaxing: you get to amuse yourself reading the responses and use different strategies to deal with the interlocutor’s mood.
