HOTPROPS FOR MAC

HOTPROPS is a first person view simulator that offers you the possibility to relax flying and racing with drones. The simulator comes with Freestyle and Race modes and features realistic physics and racing maps.

Worth mentioning is that the simulator requires a considerable amount of space (the complete installation might take up to 3.5Gb) so so simplify the deployment process everything is handled by a launcher tool.

All you have to do is move the HOTPROPS Launcher app to your Applications folder, and the first time you run the utility, it will automatically start downloading and installing the simulator resources.

Note that HOTPROPS Launcher might not work as expected if you try to launch it from another location. Once everything is in place, you get to launch the HOTPROPS simulator in full screen or windowed mode, using a resolution of your choice.

Worth mentioning is that HOTPROPS is a rather realistic simulator and that you need to connect a drone controller to your Mac to be able to interact with the environment. The simulator offers you the possibility to adjust the controller rate and PID among other things for a smooth experience.

Within the HOTPROPS you get to adjust different parameters for your controller, such ad the throttle, pitch, roll, yaw, switch, or reset. The simulator also provides support for the controller’s calibration.

HOTPROPS comes with multiple freestyle and racing tracks, and you get to see details about the track distance, the best round time, and the skill level. Thanks to the multiplayer function, you get to fly with your friends and compare your flying skills.
