Humlix is a handy tool designed to help you create API tests and automate tasks that you do over and over. It's got a clean and organized setup that makes everything easy to navigate.

Getting Started with Humlix

When you open up Humlix, you'll see a panel right away that gives you a quick look at the main features. On the left side, there’s a navigation area where you can click on options like 'Home,' 'Favorites' (which saves all your favorite requests), and 'My Suites'—this is where you can create new suites for different projects.

Notifications and Quick Actions

This tool also has a notification button. When you click it, you'll see a dropdown that shows the results of your finished tests along with some basic action buttons. Below this notification section, there are options to add a new suite, generate individual requests, or even add child suites or environments. Plus, you can import existing test suites or export any new ones you've created in Humlix.

Diverse Request Types

You can create lots of different types of requests with this app! Here’s a quick rundown: GET is for retrieving info; COPY lets you duplicate resources; PATCH helps update resources; MOVE is for moving collections around; DELETE gets rid of resources; HEAD retrieves info without body content; POST sends data to create something new (like adding a user); OPTIONS tells you what methods the server allows; and PUT replaces existing resources.

Customizing Your Requests

Once you've picked your request method, Humlix lets you set extra parameters, define environment variables, and choose how many test calls to generate. One cool feature is the version history for each request—you can see every stage of its life cycle and even clone or revert it if needed!
