When the mouse hovers over the link, it displays the traditional IE 'pointing finger' icon and can change color once visited.
You can navigate to various types of files or documents, with the appropriate application automatically launching. Additionally, you can create 'mailto' links that open the user's email client with a blank email addressed to you.
