Getting Started with Hypoinput

Once you install the app, you'll need to launch it. Doing this creates two important files: Settings.ini and TextExpansions.json. These files store your general settings and all your text expansion content. If you accidentally delete one of them, no worries! Just relaunch the app to create new ones.

Edit Your Text Expansions Easily

The TextExpansions.json file is where all your text expansions are saved. Feel free to open it up and edit directly if you're comfortable! Of course, you can also add or delete expansions using the GUI editor that comes with it. Just keep in mind that editing has to happen inside the JSON file itself. Oh, and remember: fields are case-sensitive! Make sure to save the file using UTF-8 encoding.
