Description

The I Ching

The I Ching, also known as the Book of Changes, is pretty cool! It's actually the oldest oracle in the world. This ancient book has been around for over 2,500 years and is filled with wisdom from many diviners and sages throughout history. Plus, it draws on incredibly old oral traditions that have guided people for generations.

Choosing Your Question

One of the most important steps when using the I Ching is picking a question to ask. This sets the stage for your consultation and helps you get meaningful advice.

How Does It Work?

Now, let’s talk about how you can consult this oracle. The I Ching traditionally uses a method called Yarrow Stalks, but there’s a simpler way too! In version 1.0 of this widget, you can simulate dropping three coins to get your answers. However, this coin method isn't exactly like the original Yarrow technique in terms of probability.

Fun Fact About Tokens!

The cool thing about this widget is that it uses 16 colorful gems instead of Yarrow Stalks to mimic that traditional method but in a much quicker way—just as quick as tossing coins!

User-Friendly Features

If you're ready to explore the I Ching, just click on the Yin Yang icon to open or close the window. You can even choose your preferred language for using this widget—either English or Spanish!
