i39 is a super easy and effective macOS app that lets you create ringtones and alert tones from your favorite tracks on your Mac or in your iTunes library. If you’ve got a song stuck in your head, this tool is for you!

When you first open i39, you'll see a simple black interface featuring a large waveform panel. This panel helps you pick out the exact parts of the song that you want to turn into your new ringtone. No more guessing!

Navigating Your Music Library

The app makes it super simple to find your songs. It automatically shows your iTunes collection right away. Plus, if there's any other music on your Mac that’s not in iTunes, just hit the “Open Other” button to choose any track.

Simple Steps to Make Ringtones

Creating ringtones is as easy as pie! Just follow these steps: first, pick the length of your ringtone. Then set how long you want it to fade in and out. Finally, click the export button located at the upper right corner of the main window.

Custom Lengths for Alerts

You can make ringtones up to 29 seconds long and alert tones up to 39 seconds! Want something custom? Just drag and drop the selection tool’s edges until it's just right.

Quality Matters

If you want a great ringtone, fade effects are key! With i39, you can add fade effects of up to 10 seconds at both ends of your new ringtone for that polished touch.

File Formats Supported

You can create ringtones from various file types like AIFF, MP3, WAV, M4A, CAF, and AAC. Once you're done crafting your perfect sound, easily export them directly to iTunes or save them as M4R files on your Mac’s hard drive.
