How to Use iBar

The only catch is that iBar works only with your default browser. So if you switch between multiple browsers, it might not be the best fit for you. Once you open the command window (just hit ⌥+Space, it's simple!), you'll see a list of your most recent visits and can click on whatever you need.

Finding Older Pages

If you're looking for something older that isn’t right at the top of the list, just start typing! You’ll get a list of matches from all your browsing history. You can copy any link straight to your clipboard and then the command window will close automatically.

Search Without Opening Your Browser

But wait, there’s more! iBar isn’t just about browsing history; it lets you search Google without having to open up the browser first! You can even search within other supported websites that have their own search features.

Speed Things Up with Hotkeys

If you're in a hurry, hotkeys are here to save the day! For instance, holding down Control while pressing Enter lets you start a search instantly without having to navigate through options. Just remember though – right now, it only supports major Chromium-based browsers; sorry Safari and Firefox users!
