How iBar Works

This app is designed to act like Spotlight but for your browsing history. It works with popular browsers like Chrome, Brave, Opera, and Vivaldi. With iBar, you can quickly find specific pages from your past visits or even start a new search without switching windows all the time.

Your Default Browser Only

Keep in mind that iBar only works with your default browser. So if you're someone who jumps between different browsers a lot, this might not be the best fit for you. But once you hit the command window (just press ⌥+Space), you'll see your latest page visits and can easily navigate to the one you need.

Search Your History Easily

If you're looking for something older that's not on your recent list, just start typing! You'll get matches from your entire browsing history. And when you've found what you want, you can copy it to your clipboard and the command window will close automatically!

More Than Just Browsing History

iBar isn’t just about finding old pages; it also lets you search Google without having to open up your browser first! You can even search within websites that have their own search features.

Simplify Searches with Hotkeys

If you're into shortcuts, hotkeys are here to help! For example, holding down Control and pressing Enter lets you quickly trigger a search without having to click around in the menu. However, it's worth noting that it currently only supports major search engines and doesn't work with others.

If you're someone who doesn’t clean out their browsing history often and needs an easier way to find sites you've visited before, iBar is definitely worth checking out! Just remember that if you're using Safari or Firefox, this tool won't work for you since it only supports Chromium-based browsers. It would be awesome if they could add support for multiple browsers at once in future updates!
