Icon Explorer

With the aid of Icon Explorer you can inspect executable files and extract icons to save them on the disk to ICO format. They can also be saved as regular images with the TIFF, GIF, BMP, WMF, PSD, PNG and JPEG extensions, among others.

Although it hasn't been updated for a while, Icon Explorer offers a simple solution to viewing and extracting icons from executables, and it can be seamlessly handled by anyone.
