IE-Clean

With the help of IE-Clean you can clear privacy-related items from Internet Explorer, as well as other parts of the computer in order to free up space and declutter the hard disk.

It's an easy-to-use application that contains some practical options which can be tackled even by users with little or no previous experience in such software.

This is a portable product, so there is no installation involved. It means that you can save the program files in a custom location on the disk and just click the executable to launch the tool. Another possibility is to keep it stored on a USB flash drive, in order to seamlessly run IE-Clean on any PC with minimum effort. It doesn't change the Windows registry settings, so it doesn't increase the risk of OS stability issues.

The GUI is user-friendly, represented by a small window with a plain appearance and neatly structured layout, where you can view the Internet Explorer homepage and change it into anything else.

The app can be instructed to empty the Recycle Bin and documents list, remove temporary items, and clear Internet Explorer and user-defined objects. All these actions are performed at the same time after confirming the action.

It didn't put a strain on the computer's performance in our tests, thanks to the fact that it needed a low amount of CPU and RAM to work properly. We haven't come across any stability issues in our tests, since it didn't freeze, crash or show error dialogs.

On the other hand, IE-Clean features a limited set of options and doesn't make room for customization for advanced users. We must also take into account that it hasn't received updates for a long time. Nevertheless, you can test it for yourself, since it's free.
