Incipitor

Incipitor helps you quickly add a new shortcut to the Start Menu in Windows by adding this option to the context menu. In other words, it adds new functionality ot the right-click menu on your Windows computer, which makes it possible to send a new item to the start menu quicker and definitely easier.

There is no need to install Incipitor. The main window is displayed as soon as you double-click on the main executable file, allowing you to view all the available options. Please keep in mind that you might need to run Incipitor with elevated privileges for it to work, since adding new items to the context menu requires a change in the system’s registry.

You should go through the settings before installing Incipitor to the context menu. The label, as in the name that will be displayed in the right-click menu of files, can be customized freely.

Incipitor displays the default location of the Start Menu folder. Should it be wrong, you can change it. The icon of the new item in the right-click menu can also be customized.

Once installed in the context menu of Windows, Incipitor displays the custom label of your choice there and allows you to add any shortcut to the Start menu much easier and faster.

It is worth mentioning that there is another way to populate the Start menu with shortcuts via Incipitor. To be more specific, you can drag a file onto the application’s window or onto its icon to add it to the start menu automatically.

When a new item is added to the Start menu, Incipitor’s main window is brought to focus and opened automatically to the “Folders” tab. Here, you can assign a custom name to the shortcut and choose where to place it.
