Description

InftyEditor

InftyEditor is a handy tool that makes typing complex scientific formulas super easy. It gives you a nice environment to work in and even has LaTeX features, which help you quickly create mathematical algorithms like sums, integrals, fractions, and limits. Plus, it supports all those neat superscript and subscript symbols!

Easy Text Editing with LaTeX Functions

The best part? InftyEditor comes with a full-fledged text editor packed with LaTeX functions. You can easily define symbols like square roots and Greek letters. Switching between plain text mode (just hit the "T" button) and Math mode (press "M") is a breeze. This lets you activate specific syntax support whenever you need it.

Math Mode Features

When you're in Math mode, you'll find character sets, symbols, and formulas right at your fingertips. Each line ends with its own special symbol, and there's a LaTeX Source bar that shows the code for each graphic representation as you edit. If you want to define a function, just type a backslash on your keyboard to bring up the LaTeX command menu. All the supported functions are listed in an easy-to-use drop-down menu.

Navigating Symbols Easily

If you're working with complex symbols—like integrals or multi-level square roots—you'll need to enter some extra characters like superscripts or subscripts. No worries! You can navigate through required symbols using your arrow keys. And if you're ever stuck, the Help window has detailed instructions on how to define what you need.

Selecting Characters from the Context Menu

You can also pick characters directly from the context menu! Just right-click in the editor to access a list of characters and formulas. Plus, it keeps track of up to five recently used characters for when you need that same symbol again.

Chemistry Mode and More!

If you're into chemistry too, InftyEditor has got you covered! Just hit the "C" button on the toolbar to switch to Chemistry mode for specific syntax for chemical formulas. You can even embed pictures, insert tables or handwriting into your documents! When you're done, export your work as a LaTeX file, MathML file, HTML document, Human readable TeX file or Word 2007 document.
