Insync is a handy tool that keeps your Google Drive in sync across different machines. When you make changes on your computer, they automatically update in Google Drive and vice versa. How cool is that?
You just need to drop files or folders into the Insync folder linked to each Google email account you have. It’s super straightforward! While it’s syncing, you’ll see a blue badge icon on the file or folder. Once everything is synced up, that icon turns into a green checkmark. You know it’s good to go!
If you want to share something, just right-click on the file or folder and hit Share. A browser window will pop open for you to send it out. The people you share with will get an email letting them know you've shared something with them.
The recipients of your shared files can sign up for Insync to keep those files synced too, or they can head straight over to Google Drive to access what you've sent.
Insync also supports versioning through Google Drive! But if there happens to be a conflict, don’t worry—Insync saves the conflicting version locally while syncing down the latest one. This lets you merge them however you'd like!
NOTE: If you're running low on space, you can always buy extra storage from the Drive storage buy page.
