IP Display

Getting your IP address is an easy task when you have basic network-related skills, and the Internet is one-click away. The “ipconfig” command displays all current TCP/IP network configuration values but if you prefer a regular GUI, then a lightweight application such as IP Display is the way to go.

As its name suggests, IP Display can reveal information about your local and external IP addresses. In terms of functionality, it resembles the old “winipcfg” tool that came along with Windows.

No installation is required, and IP Display is up and running as soon as you double click on the main executable file. Details about the IP addresses are shown instantly, without you having to do anything, not even click on a button.

IP Display reveals the local IP addresses and the external address, as well as the gateway address. Moreover, it retrieves information concerning the hostname and the DNS servers your computer uses. Please keep in mind that this application only reports on the IP configuration, without having additional options to modify the IP information or perform other network-related actions.

You can refresh the information with a single click and IP Display will reload the commands to show you updated data. Moreover, all the information can be quickly copied to the Windows clipboard and used wherever necessary.
