The interface is pretty straightforward. You’ll see a standard window that you can move around anywhere on your screen using your mouse.

How to Use It

Using IP Subnet Calculator is a breeze! Just type in your IP address, CIDR mask, and the subnet mask in traditional format. Once you do that, this tool will quickly show you all sorts of useful info: network address, address class, broadcast address, and even whether it's a subnet or supernet. Plus, it tells you the first host address and total addresses available.

Customization Options

If you're looking to personalize things a bit, you can change the color overlay for the frame through the Widget Preferences panel. You can access this by right-clicking on the window.

Performance and Usability

IP Subnet Calculator is light on resources too! It uses very little CPU and system memory so it won’t slow down your computer at all. It responds quickly and runs smoothly without crashing or showing annoying error messages.

A Note on Updates

The only downside? This tool hasn’t seen an update in quite some time. But keep in mind that since the Yahoo! Widget Engine project has been discontinued, that’s not too surprising.
