Description
ip2c
ip2c is a handy application that helps you find out which country is linked to a specific IP address. It’s pretty cool because it checks the five main whois servers around the world to figure out the best source for the IP you give it.
How Does ip2c Work?
When you input an IP, ip2c gets back useful info like the two-letter country code (like US for the United States), the full country name, and even which part of the world it’s in—like North America. It also tries to share a quick description of who manages that block of IP addresses if that info is available!
Batch Processing with ip2c
If you have a list of IPs saved in a comma-separated file, no worries! ip2c can handle those too. It processes them and creates a new file with all the country details added in. Super convenient!
Performance Features
This program isn’t just fast; it's smart too! ip2c runs multiple queries at once, so you don’t have to wait long for results. This multithreaded capability really speeds things up!
User-Friendly Versions Available
You can get ip2c as both a console app (ip2c.exe) and a Windows GUI app (ip2c_gui.exe). Each version has its own unique features, and you can check those out in more detail in the help file included.
