One thing to note is that iTubePlayer doesn’t have a playback queue. So, if you want to watch more than one video, you'll need to handle them manually each time. But good news: it does let you put the current video on repeat if that's your jam!

The whole idea behind using this desktop client is about saving resources. Since you're not running a full-featured browser, the demands on your computer drop significantly. And because iTubePlayer doesn't use Adobe Flash Player either, it helps even more!

If you're curious about performance, here's some info: On a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac with 6GB RAM, iTubePlayer used around 40% of CPU power when loading videos and just 30MB of RAM. Once playing started, CPU usage dropped to about 10%, and went almost completely idle while on standby.
