Easy-to-Use Interface

The interface of Japanese FlashCards is super friendly. Everything is neatly organized. On the left side, you'll find buttons for all the different tools you can use. The right side shows the content of word lists and lets you solve exercises and more!

Organized Language Tools

You’ll notice that everything is set up logically. Right away, under the “Current WordFile” tag, you can see which word file you're working with. You can pick one of the exercise modes or dive into the review area. Just a heads-up: by default, the learning list shows only 10 entries at a time, even if there are way more words in your pack.

Variety of Exercises

Japanese FlashCards offers four types of exercises to keep things interesting:

• Word Exercise: See a symbol and choose the correct word.


• Meaning Exercise: View a word and select its symbol.


• Grid Exercise: Get a meaning and pick out the missing character from a grid.


• Listening Exercise: Hear pronunciation and choose the right meaning.

A Wealth of Vocabulary

This app gives you access to over 100 word files packed with more than 6000 Japanese words! Just remember, only the first four word files come included by default; you'll need to download any extras yourself.

Customizable Learning Options

The “Tasks and Options” panel lets you customize your experience. You can choose which exercises to focus on, add all words to learning mode, adjust audio volume, and much more!
