Easy Setup and User-Friendly Interface

Getting started with Jihosoft WhatsMate is super easy. After a quick setup that won’t cause you any headaches, you’ll see a clean and simple window. This window shows four main features: backup, restore, transfer, and recovery. It's all laid out in front of you!

Connecting Your Device

To kick things off, just plug in your Android or iOS device to your computer after turning on USB debugging mode. Just a heads up: the app only works with rooted devices and needs superuser permissions to check out your phone’s WhatsApp data.

Scanning Your Data

The scanning process is pretty quick! Once it’s done, Jihosoft WhatsMate will show you charts, contacts, and call logs separately. You can dive into each conversation to see the names and numbers of the people involved along with the date of each chat. And yes—any images or videos shared will be available for preview too!

Managing Contacts and Calls

If you're looking at contacts, you'll get their names, phone numbers, and statuses displayed nicely. For calls? You'll see who called (or who you called), when it happened, and whether it was incoming or outgoing. By default, everything is selected for backup but feel free to uncheck anything you don’t want to save.

Smooth Backup Process

After picking where to save your backup files, Jihosoft WhatsMate will do its thing! It even offers to open the folder where everything is saved so you can check it out right away.

Restoring and Transferring Data

The process for restoring or recovering data is just as easy as backing up! You can either put back an entire WhatsApp backup on your device or just pull out the specific info you need. For transferring data between two devices? Simply plug in another one to your computer and choose how you want to switch things around.
