JT65-HF
JT65-HF is designed just for ham radio enthusiasts! This software helps you receive and send messages using the JT65A protocol. It even has some preset frequencies, known as QRG, and message templates to get you started.
Quick Setup Process
The setup is super quick and easy. Once you finish, you'll see a busy interface with a menu bar, buttons, and lots of information spread across the screen. It might look a bit cluttered at first!
No Help Section
One thing to note is that there's no built-in Help section. This means it's better suited for users who already know their way around amateur radio tools.
Settings Panel Upon Launch
The first time you open JT65-HF, you'll land on the settings panel. Here, you can tweak everything to match your style! You can pick your sound input and output from dropdown menus and set up your callsign, prefix, suffix, and grid (which can be 4 or 6 characters long).
Easily Configure Your Preferences
You also have options for automatic RX/TX sample rate correction and deciding where to save your RX/TX history file in CSV format. Plus, don't forget to add your PTT port so you can test it out!
Add QRGs and Messages
You can call for a PSK Reporter or RB, add new QRGs or message definitions to what's already there, and play around with the color-coded system.
Raw Decoder Feature
The software includes a raw decoder too! You can check logs in a separate window and clear them with just one click. The main window shows the current time and date along with audio input levels so you can adjust digital audio gain as needed.
Manage Your Calls Effectively
You'll be able to call or answer CQ requests easily, respond to callers, send reports, switch up the color map, and adjust brightness, contrast, speed, and gain without any hassle.
