What is KClock FOR LINUX?

KClock

KClock is a cool SuperKaramba theme that lets you jazz up your desktop with some awesome clock widgets. Right now, it offers 12 different clock styles to choose from!

Key Features of KClock

Here are some highlights:

• Clock hands can be shaded, but only if you have PIL or ImageMagick installed.


• You can even remove the second hand if you want a cleaner look.


• All clock hand images are cached, which helps reduce system overhead—pretty neat, right?


• The clock styles are in SVG format, so they can be resized to any size you like!


• You can add more clock styles directly from the widget menu.


• If you want, you can also remove clock styles right from the widget menu.

• KDE 3.5.x

What’s New in This Release?

KClock has some exciting updates!

• If your current style or the default 'chrome' style is gone at startup, KClock will pick the first available style automatically.


• A new GUI configuration window has been added (you'll need pyqt installed for this feature).


• You can now set different timezones!


• KClock will auto-install the pytz timezone package for your convenience.


• The widget will throttle back on update frequency when not showing a second hand—saves energy!


• Bugs have been fixed and everything has been cleaned up nicely.
