If you’re a first-time user, you'll catch on fast. To create a key binding, just type the key into the input field. You can also check any modifiers you want to include. The same goes for the output field where you can add mouse actions too!
Manage Your Mappings Effortlessly
All your created mappings are shown in the main window. You can enable them easily by hitting the Start button! When it's active, other functions are temporarily disabled so you won’t have any distractions.
Add More Actions for Complex Sequences
Once you've set up a basic binding, feel free to add extra actions to trigger complex sequences when you press that key. Want delays? You got it! The possibilities here are nearly endless.
Create Toggle Switches for Flexibility
You can even set up on/off toggle switches! This means you can start an action with one keystroke and end it with another—how cool is that?
No Installation Needed!
No need to worry about installation either! You can jump right in and use KeyCap instantly. It’s portable too—run it from USB drives without leaving anything behind.
Easily Manage Active Mappings
If you try closing the app while mappings are still active, don’t worry! It'll just minimize to the system tray. From there, you can easily toggle it on or off or shut it down completely.
