Solitaire is a simple yet entertaining card game that has not lost its charm over the years. Klondike is a OS X game that allows you to play the classic game on your Mac computer, but also integrates some of the most popular variations.

The Klondike user interface is represented by a single window that contains the game board. Via the status bar menu you get to change the game type (Klondike, Canfield, Racing Demons, Golf, or Free Cell), the name of the 4 supported players, or the view mode (you get to play in full screen).

Klondike automatically keeps the score for each game, allows you to replay the current hand, and enables you to quickly start a new game. Klondike can also export your score to a CSV file.

Klondike comes with few customization options, but you can access all of them via the Preferences window. Here you can change the background color, the window opacity, the animation speed, and the number of scores that should be preserved.

What’s more, you can toggle the visibility or the activation for certain elements: the score, the time, the sound effects, the casino scoring, or the auto turn function. Klondike can apply strict rules, and also integrates autocomplete capabilities.
