League of Legends is a super fun and addictive MOBA that takes a lot of inspiration from the Defense of the Ancients mod for the classic game Warcraft: The Frozen Throne. If you enjoy competitive gaming, this one's for you!

Gameplay Overview

In League of Legends, you get to control a “champion” and dive into short battles against other players or bots. There are over 118 champions to choose from, each with its own unique style and type. Your choice really impacts how you play the game.

Leveling Up Your Champion

To upgrade your champion, you need to show off your skills by taking down enemy champions who are either controlled by real players or bots. Plus, there are these minions that spawn and attack turrets along with other champions on both sides.

The Map and Strategies

The classic game mode has three main paths on the map where minions march forward. The lane you pick can change your strategy based on what type of champion you're using. So think carefully about your choice!

Earning Gold

One cool thing about League of Legends is that you earn gold just by playing! You can make even more gold by landing the final hit on minions, destroying enemy towers, taking out neutral monsters, and yes—slaying those enemy champions!

Buying Items in the Store

With all that gold you've collected, head over to the League of Legends Store! You can buy tons of items to boost your champion's power. You also have options like Riot Points or Influence Points for extra goodies that can be bought with real money.

Your Role as a Summoner

You play as a “summoner,” which means your stats and scores are tracked throughout your journey. Winning battles earns you experience points that help level up your summoner all the way to level 30!
