If you ever tried learning something quickly and with minimum effort, you might've heard about flash cards and understand how they can help you memorize large amounts of information in no time.

Leitner Box is one of the applications that make use of the flash card technique to help you memorize stuff in no time. It should be noted that this application requires Java Runtime Environment to run properly on the target computer.

Since it's a portable program, you don't need to install it on the target computer. You just have to extract the contents of the archive this app comes in and launch the executable in order to run it.

More so, after extraction you can move it to removable storage media such as a USB flash drive or external HDD or SDD and run it from there. The app won't tamper with your registry entries, nor will it create files or folders on your PC without your consent.

Aside from letting you learn from various flash cards, Leitner Box also comes with a conversion module that enables you to turn Anki or Jmemorise cards into ones that are compatible with this app.

From the main window, you need to select the "Convert" function, load the input files into the application and hit the "Convert" button as soon as they've been selected.

Once you launch the application, you'll notice that its language has been defaulted to Persian and if you're not familiar with the language, it might be a bit confusing to switch it to English. Just click the gear-shaped button, select the combo menu where "Persian" is available, select "English" and hit the left button to confirm your selection.

More so, some of the menus are poorly drawn, which makes large portions of text unavailable or overlays some bits of information. Also, the start button doesn't exactly launch a study session.
