To kick things off with Let.ter, the first step is to pick your email provider. You can choose from popular options like Gmail, Yahoo!, Outlook, AOL, Fastmail, Dreamhost, Rackspace, Mobileme, or QQ. After you select your provider, all you need to do is enter your email address and password.

A Clean Writing Experience

Once you're set up, you’ll see how clean and minimalist the writing window is. The app really sticks to its philosophy of simplicity! You won't find any clutter here—just a straightforward interface that lets you focus on what matters most: your email.

Straightforward Features

Let.ter keeps things simple with its features too! At the top of the window is the Subject field where you type your subject line. Below that is where you enter who you're sending it to. Over on the right side, there’s a handy Preview button so you can see how your email will look before it goes out. And right in the middle? That’s where all the writing happens!

You can jazz up your text in Let.ter by making it bold or italicized using either the Format menu or OS X’s native keyboard shortcuts. Plus, if you're into Markdown symbols, you can use those too!
