How Does LinkChecker Work?
This application takes a webpage URL as input. Once you give it a URL, it gets to work scanning that page for all kinds of elements that point to other URLs, images, files, and more.
Sorting Links into Good and Broken
After gathering all those links, LinkChecker sorts them into two categories: 'good' links and 'broken' links. If you're scanning hundreds of URLs at once, it can take some time. But don't worry! LinkChecker uses a thread pool to scan in parallel, which speeds things up.
Get Your HTML Report
When it's done, you'll get a nice HTML report with all the details about each URL along with other stats. It's pretty neat to see everything laid out clearly!
