Why Choose Liri Browser?

Even though Liri wants to keep things simple, it misses some key features that most web browsers should have. There are also a few bugs that can really slow you down when using it.

Dashboard Features

When you open a new tab in Liri Browser, you get a dashboard where you can quickly add your favorite websites for easy access. But here's the catch: during our tests, we couldn't actually add any pages!

User Interface Design

This browser has a unique twist—it combines the address bar with your tabs to make everything less cluttered. While this sounds cool, organizing your tabs could be better. For example, there’s no way to pin or rearrange them, and if you have lots of tabs open at once, resizing them isn’t an option.

Session Recovery Issues

If the app crashes (and it does sometimes), good luck trying to recover your last session. This is something that can be pretty frustrating!

Theming Options

You can find some themes in the settings menu, but sadly, we couldn’t figure out how to change the look of Liri Browser at all.

Download Management

Liri comes with a basic download manager. However, files get renamed automatically when saved on your Mac. This makes it tricky to keep track of what you've downloaded.

Browsing History Concerns

You can see your browsing history but can't clear it—definitely not ideal for privacy! This is something many users expect from their browsers.

Missing Features

Liri Browser could use a zoom tool and more security features too! Plus, support for add-ons would make it much more versatile.
