LogIt

LogIt is a simple address book like any other similar apps that comes as a quicker and safer solution to the Yellow Book. It helps store your important contacts and comes packed with a broad range of details fields to fill.

The setup proves to be uncomplicated and requires a few mouse clicks. Right after it's been launched, you can start entering all your existing contacts, and that follow. It's wrapped in an old yet user-friendly layout divided into the contact list on the left side of the panel, and the fields, on the right.

The provided toolbar contains all the insertion options at one click away. LogIt comes with two separate groups: contact and person. The first option lets you enter the individual's type (e.g. family, co-worker, friend),  which could've been included directly in the required fields, not separate.

The second one is the actual contact panel, where you have to fill in the title, full name, company and position, address, city, and state, as well as numerous phone numbers, email, and webpage. All the information is neatly structured and displayed, for an easier view.

It's possible to change the displayed font type, size, and style. A nice addition is the ability to create an address book and envelopes using the inputted information, and print them out. You can export the data to CSV and TXT file formats.

Sadly you can't upload a profile image from the computer or attach documents specific to that individual. What's more, you don't have the option to protect the database with a password from being accessed and modified. Plus, the background color can't be personalized.

Taking everything into account, LogIt is a useful and accessible program designed to offer a simple way to add and manage numerous contacts, as well as print them out for further use.
