Loose Leaves is a handy tool that makes sharing your Markdown notes super easy. You don't have to deal with any tricky steps. Just type up your notes, and it automatically generates a URL for you. It even copies the link to your clipboard and opens it in your web browser!
Once you install Loose Leaves, you'll see a little icon in your status bar. This gives you quick access to the online app documentation and lets you manage your account settings. Just remember, you need to register for an account, but don’t worry—it’s free!
Keep in mind that Loose Leaves is still being developed, so there might be some bugs here and there. If you run into any common issues, check out the online Help page for solutions.
This app uses SSL encryption to keep your information safe. It creates a long, random token for the link address, making it hard for others to guess. But just a heads-up: anyone with the link can access your data since there aren’t any extra security measures in place.
You can start sharing by simply selecting text and pressing Shift + Command + C on your keyboard. If that shortcut doesn’t work for some reason, no worries! You can just right-click and choose the option from the Finder menu.
Loose Leaves will format everything according to Markdown syntax when creating pages. Plus, it can also handle some HTML styles if needed!
This app is perfect if you want an easy way to share nicely formatted Markdown content without getting bogged down by complicated details.
Just be careful about what you share because anyone with the URL can see it! Also, even though every page has a delete button, there's no way to view all the URLs created under your account.
