How to Install for One User

If you're looking to install these sounds just for yourself, it's super simple. All you need to do is place the sound files in this folder: /Users/[username]/Library/Sounds/. Just swap out [username] with your actual username, and voilà! You're all set.

Installing Globally

If you want everyone on your computer to enjoy these classic sounds, you'll need to go a bit further. You can either drop them into the following folder: /System/Library/Sounds/, but be careful because this requires root permission. Alternatively, you can create a new folder at /Library/Sounds/. This way, the sounds will be available for all users on the system.

Accessing Your Sounds
