Mahjong Unlimited is an elegant Mahjong variant for the macOS platform featuring an intelligent puzzle generator and over 100 layouts. The simple gameplay, which consists of finding identical tiles, is ancient, but as addicting as ever.

The user interface of this particular variant of Mahjong consists of 2 separate windows, one for the game itself and the other to access the game statistics and the settings for configuring the layout, tiles, background and other options.

In the Mahjong window, you will be able to see the number of remaining tiles, free pairs, the elapsed time as well as buttons for 2 basic actions: “Undo” and “Hint”. In addition to this, the Game Stats panel allows you to shuffle the game, restart it, auto-solve it or start a new one.

The advantage of playing Mahjong Unlimited is that, every new random game can be soled, as opposed to other Mahjong games that shuffle the tiles without providing a solution. This can be checked with the “Auto Solve” feature that automatically matches all remaining tiles on the board.

Furthermore, 3 difficulty modes are available: easy, dynamic and expert. The sound effects can be turned on / off, the visual aid can be disabled and the volume can be adjusted. All from the Options panel. Also, more than 100 layouts and extra tile models are available, too.
