Description

Mail Pilot

Mail Pilot is a super sleek email client designed just for macOS. It’s got a modern look and feel, plus it’s really easy to use. Unlike those old-school email programs that get all complicated with flags and settings, Mail Pilot keeps things simple and effective.

Email Management Made Easy

With Mail Pilot, you can send emails from all your accounts and organize them into special folders. This means you can sort messages from Gmail, iCloud, AOL, Yahoo!, Outlook, or any standard IMAP email account all in one place! How cool is that?

Limitations to Note

However, there are a couple of downsides. Right now, Mail Pilot doesn’t work with Exchange or POP accounts unless they have IMAP enabled. Also, for security reasons, it won’t let you add email accounts hosted on SMTP servers that don’t support authentication.

Key Features for Your Inbox

This app packs some pretty neat features to help manage your inbox: you can mark emails as “Complete,” which sends them to an Archive folder across all your accounts. You can also set aside messages for later review or create reminders for tasks mentioned in emails. Plus, moving emails to new or existing folders is super easy!

User-Friendly Interface

The interface is straightforward and intuitive—perfect for anyone! To perform actions like marking emails or moving them around, you can just hit single keys (like Space, S, R, L, and F) or click the buttons right below each message.

Quick Access Tabs

Once you send messages to a category, accessing them is a breeze! You’ll find tabs above the messages pane where you can quickly get to your organized emails. There’s also a sources tab right under your accounts.

Additional Functionality

You’ll love the reply panes that pop up under each email—just hit CMD + R or use the contextual menu to open them up! Creating new messages? No problem! You can do that from a separate window with all the usual editing options like adding attachments and links.

The Road Ahead

Mail Pilot is still growing! While it hasn’t quite caught up with Apple’s default email client or other big players just yet—it shows promise. The developers are working on adding more layouts and features like message filtering and supporting more types of email accounts.
