MailChimp Import is a super easy app for OS X that helps you move your contacts from Apple’s Contacts directly to your MailChimp subscriber list. If you didn’t know, MailChimp started back in 2001 and has grown to over 4 million users who create and send email marketing campaigns every day!
You can grab MailChimp Import for free on the Mac App Store! It’s quick and simple, just a few clicks, and you’re all set. Plus, it only takes up about 1.3 MB on your hard drive. You can get it installed in just a couple of minutes.
Before you start using MailChimp Import, make sure to check out your account settings page to generate an API key via the Extras menu. Once you've got that API Key, you can log in right from the app and easily export your chosen contacts to any of your MailChimp lists.
This app comes with a really friendly interface that makes it super easy to see all your groups and contacts at a glance. Just select one or more contacts from the list, hit the Export to MailChimp button in the bottom right corner, and you’re good to go! Just remember, you need to agree with MailChimp’s opt-in policy before exporting any contacts.
The exporting process is quick! Depending on how many contacts you're moving over, it can be done in just seconds. You also get to choose which list you want those selected contacts sent to by checking out the MailChimp List slide sheet at the top left corner of the main window.
If you're one of those users who loves using MailChimp for creating and sending email marketing campaigns, then MailChimp Import is definitely worth trying out!
