Meme’s are sometimes the best way to express an idea and then quickly share it with your friends on your social media accounts. Meme Generator is a simple application that provides the tools to quickly create your own memes without too much hustle.

Meme Generator comes with a simple interface and a collection of popular meme images. The most recent meme pictures are included in a separate list.

The app allows you to use your own images and you can quickly import them via the File menu or by using the Command+I keyboard shortcut. Unfortunately, drag and drop actions are not supported in this case. The imported images will be stored in the Meme Generator image library under the Custom category.

To use Meme Generator simply select an image and then input the top and bottom captions. The text can be written with small or with all CAPS letters and you can adjust the font size and alignment.

Once you are done, you can save the image locally as a PNG file or you can share it using your Facebook, Twitter, Tumbrl or Reddit accounts. Simply select the service you want to use and input a title for your post (optionally): the app will open a new tab in your default web browser to facilitate the posting.

In the Meme Generator Saved tab, you will be able to view the user saved memes: this way you can easily share the image again or simply modify the meme to create a new post.
