How Does MetaGuide Work?

This cool application uses video imaging to help align your telescope perfectly. It even helps with collimation by analyzing the in-focus diffraction pattern of a star. Pretty neat, right?

What Do You Need?

If you're thinking about trying out MetaGuide, you'll need a video camera – any size and type will do! Just make sure it can connect to your mount because that's how you'll access the guiding features. Your mount can be equatorial or on a wedge; just ensure it supports PulseGuide for ASCOM.
