Minesweeper X FOR MAC

Inspired by some on of the earliest games developed for computers, Minesweeper has become a classic title as far as single player puzzle games go.

Minesweeper X brings the vintage gameplay to the Mac platform and is compatible with some of the most recent OS versions. The game also sports multiple difficulty modes and allows you to compare your performance with other players around the world.

Within the Minesweeper X main window you get to choose one of the available game modes: easy, medium, or hard. Only after you make your selection, Minesweeper X will open a separate window that includes the game board.

You get to access the Leaderboard panel where you get to see the name and best times achieved by other players all over the world. Minesweeper X keeps the entries sorted by difficulty level.

After each completed game, Minesweeper X prompts you to input your name, so if you managed to finish the puzzle faster than other players, your name will be included in the leaderboard.

Minesweeper X follows the classic rules sported by this game: you need to start clicking on tiles, to unravel hints on where the mines are. If you click on a tile that has a mine beneath, you lose the session automatically and have to start over.

With a right click, you get to signal the tiles that you think hide a mine and in the bottom area of the game window you get to see how many are left on the board. Minesweeper X also displays a game session timer.

To sum up, Minesweeper X brings to your Mac a classic puzzle game and allows you to play at different levels (you get to increase both the game board size and the number of included mines.)

Minesweeper X times your performance, and you get to log your score and get up on the leaderboard, next to players from all over the world.
